The Sickness Impact Profile, SIP, is a generic measure used to evaluate the impact of disease on both physical and emotional functioning. Patients are asked to respond to the items as they are on that day.
Psychometric properties of the SIP include high test-retest reliability (r = 0.92) and internal consistency (r - 0.94) scores.
