The Asthma Quality of Life Questionnaire (AQLQ) was developed to measure the impact of symptoms of asthma in adults.

Abstract

There are 32 questions in 4 domains: symptoms, activity limitation, emotional function, environmental stimuli. More than 6 validation studies have been conducted demonstrating test-retest reliability, responsiveness to change, and construct validity. The AQLQ correlates with other known measures of clinical asthma status and responds to known effective treatments.
