The Child Health Questionnaire (CHQ) is a health-related quality of life measure (HRQoL) for children over the age of 10.
The 87-item Child Health Questionnaire (CHQ) was tested in 466 Dutch adolescents. Cronbach alpha-values were >0.70 except for physical functioning which was 0.56. The CHQ scales showed significant discrimination between children with two or more self-reported chronic conditions (N=59) and those without (N=281) based on US and Australian reports.
