Description

The EORTC QLQ-C30 is a questionnaire developed to assess the quality of life of cancer patients. It is supplemented by disease-specific modules for many cancer types.

Abstract

In a study of 95 cancer patients and the employment of the EORTC QLQ-C30, the patient's self assessment and an observer's rating of the patient's open-ended responses were measured. The agreement between patients' and observers' ratings was high (median kappa = 0.85, range 0.49-1.00).
